The Tremond scene is a throwback to season 2 when yet another different Mrs Tremond appeared at a door making unexpected denials to Donna and Cooper himself (who clearly has no memory of that). Sarah Palmer was shown inside the exactly same Palmers' house in Part 2 so Mrs Tremond was again just as unreliable as in the previous season.

In S2E9, we meet the real Mrs. Tremond and in FWWM it seems like they did they did the same thing at the trailer park, as Carl mentions two distinct Chalfonts in the same trailer.
