Karma lowkey abandoning him out of the blue, on top of everything else, really hurt his confidence. And even when they're together again, and seemingly close, there's still this distance between them. Nagisa's just not the best at talking through his emotions. Mixed with Karma, that's not the best combination ever.

I all aspects, Karma is stronger than him, he can be a good assassin. He is shown to lack alertness against surprise attacks, but he was able to reduce damage from Nagisa's stun clap and was able to dodge Grip's gas attempt. It is just personal opinion, no harm to Nagisa fanboys/girls. stop equating strength and combat skill to assassination.
