FPS Lags when glass brakes. Hi everyone! I was playing Mirrors edge until whenever a guard or myself broke glass my FPS Dropped a huge amout which makes the game unplayble! (because of the lag) Dose anyone know how to fix this? Go into Options then Video and uncheck Phyx. It worked for me.

Yes, it's the PhysX. When bullets hit things like glass in the game, the advanced physics can make for a more realistic experience, but it doesn't change how the game is played. I also had this problem and solved it by deleting some files from the game folder. Took these steps from a steam forum post: Delete or rename the physxcore.dll, and physxdevice.dll from the steam\steamapps\common\mirrors edge\binaries folder. Also delete the physxlocal directory inside that same binaries folder.
