Hunted this Carno as an Allo just to see if i could "Out-Stam" the carno, i have always wanted to test if the stamina regen rate of the Allo would assist in.

Carno does do slightly more damge than an allo but the allo does more dps and moves faster. Plus you get a pack bonus when there are 3 or more allos. A pack of allos can wreck something but if your not going to tame at least 3 of them I would just shoot for the rex. More damage and is more tanky. 5.

From the list of the 3 the Rex is probably best. The carno has serious stamina regen issues and a lower base attack than the rex. I'm not entirely sure how the Allo handles, but their bleed feature is nice, and if it regen's stam better than the rex I'd say they would make good mounts. However as of the next patch and the Tek Tier you can.

cerato vs carno are almost 50/50, cerato wins with one bite of difference and carno has more bleed, cerato has no bleed resistance, carno i s better, I feel like cerato needs a weight buff to 2,400 tons, since it looks more fat than carno almost like allo, but smaller. Have several duels as cera, always win.

When an allo finds another allo they will join forces and form a pack. The highest level allo becomes the leader once the pack reaches a size of 3 allos. A pack of allos will always follow each others no matter what. They usually follow the leader, but can follow a different allo if say a player calls over that specific allo to follow him .

Allo's in 3's are nuts. You get a nice mate boost and then the highest level of the pack gets a pack bonus. Mate boost - 33% more damage, 33% less damage. Pack bonus - 50% more damage, 25% less damage, gains the bleed attack. Spino is great if you go in water a lot, very fast swimmer and has no stamina bar in water.

Carno. Both fill roughly the same niche but Carno is better at the things mentioned while Allo leans more towards brute force. Neither is a good choice for hunting Trikes - unless they are young in which case Carno is the better choice with parents around and Allo the better choice with no parents nearby. #5.

If an Allo bites a Carno one time, the Carno can just sprint away, you'll get enough distance before you bleed out. The same isn't true the other way around. Carnos can keep trying against an Allo until they get the upper hand and make it bleed out. And as a Carno you can hang around an open area where there's little chance to get ambushed.

Allo is fastest I think, but rex is most powerful and with enough stam can get across the map very quickly. Allo. Allo all the way. Get you 3 of them. I would rather have my 3 allo than a rex any day. My tribe likes them so much we have 12 and we breed them. Faster than a rex, more punch than a carno.
