Quite popular in Europe and winning the Paris-Dakar in the the early 90's, this bike was made from 1989-1994 and never distributed in North America.

The engine is very strong; I've seen several ST's with +200.000km in their clock. Intake valve clearances may creep tighter (adjusting with shims) and carbs wear their needle tubes quite quickly (replace them every 30.000km or so). If more power needed, an early 850 TDM engine fits right in.
