Il Forte Stella è una caratteristica fortificazione costiera situata nel comune di Monte Argentario. La sua ubicazione è nei pressi di Porto Ercole, su un promontorio che si eleva a ovest dell'abitato, non lontano dalla Spiaggia dello Sbarcatello. In passato, costituiva uno dei baluardi del sistema difensivo del promontorio dell'Argentario .

Forte Stella sits above Porto Ercole on the southeast corner of Monte Argentario. It has nice views but not a lot else. If you're nearby it makes sense to visit if you have time but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit. You can get similar views from the road that goes around the south side of Monte Argentario (see photos).
