In the beginning, the Quaker company introduced two kinds of cereal with the same ingredients - Quisp and Quake. The sole difference between Quisp and Quake was the shape of the cereal.

Quisp won by a wide margin and, true to their word, Quaker discontinued Quake cereal. Quisp cereal began disappearing from grocery stores in the late 1970's. It was re-introduced in the mid-80's for a short time. Today (2021), Quisp has been available again for at least a few years, albeit in limited places and only the 8.5oz size box.
