Le lac d'Oô est un lac glaciaire naturel des Pyrénées à 1505 m d'altitude. Il a été surélevé de 10 m par un barrage en 1921 et couvre aujourd'hui 42 ha pour une profondeur de 67 m et une capacité de 15 millions de m3. Capté par une galerie, il alimente la centrale hydo-électrique d'Oô à Luchon.

The waterfall across Lake d Oo is 275m high and is one of the highest in the Pyrenees. For the brave, it's also a good spot to go for a swim. Have a spotter on shore for safety and note that the rocks to the waterfront are hard on bare feet so you may want to wear shoes.
