Soho Málaga is renowned for its vibrant street art that stands as a living canvas of urban creativity. The district became an artistic icon through the initiative of the Malaga Arte Urbano (MAUS) by the end of the year 2000. This recognition sparked the emergence of the street art movement in the vicinity.
SOHO MALAGA STREET ART AND GRAFFITI ROUTE
Soho's street art is the brain child of MAUS (the Spanish acronym for Urban Art in Soho Malaga), a project designed to convert the district into a backdrop for art in all its forms, but with particular emphasis on street art. And not just any old art.

One of the most striking aspects of the works scattered around the streets of Soho is the range of different artistic styles in evidence. This perhaps gives Malaga's street art scene a slight edge over Granada's - even though the latter boasts the work of Él Nino de las Pinturas, one of the pioneers of the art form. Faith XLVII. This is a fun series from Italian artist, TV Boy, who has covered the wall with some of the famous people from Malaga like Pablo Picasso, Chiquito de la Calzada, and Dani Rovira. Soho is bordered by the Guadalmedina River (aka the River of the City) and the walls are filled with tags. There's also some really beautiful pieces.
