The fire in Djukbinj National Park, about 80 kilometres south-east of Darwin, was lit last August, according to Bushfires NT and NT Police. It burned for 11 days and impacted about 166 square kilometres of vegetation, including 2,300 hectares of land on an adjoining pastoral station.
